Before joining Fortune, Michal was a staff writer at Business 2.0, a former Time Inc. publication that covered startups. She has also written for CNNMoney, Fast Company, and Popular Science. Born in Israel, Michal holds a degree in journalism from San Francisco State University and lives in the Bay Area.
