Comcast, a telecommunications conglomerate, is among the world’s largest broadcasting and cable TV companies by revenue. In 2026, Comcast Cable was the leading provider of cable internet access in the U.S., under the Xfinity brand. Comcast’s NBCUniversal division includes the television network NBC and film studio Universal Pictures. In January 2026, Comcast completed the spin off of its cable networks including USA, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, Syfy, and Golf Channel into an independent, publicly traded company named Versant Media Group.

Comcast, parent company of several big media brands such as NBCUniversal, Telemundo, and Peacock, reaches hundreds of millions of customers and viewers around the world. Though Comcast offers employees remote work with flexible hours and days, last September it launched a four-day in-office schedule. The company has launched other initiatives aimed at lessening wealth disparities across the U.S. by fostering digital equity. It’s also committed to shrinking its carbon footprint, cutting its enterprise-wide greenhouse gas emissions by 38% since 2019.
