Lithium Technologies, an Emeryville, Calif.-based provider of social customer experience solutions for the enterprise, has raised $53.4 million in Series D funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round, and was joined by SAP Ventures and return backers Benchmark Capital, DAG Ventures, Emergence Capital, Greenspring Associates, Shasta Ventures and Tenaya Capital. The company previously raised around $39 million, and views this new deal as a pre-IPO round.
