Rachel Lord

Rachel Lord oversees more than 15,000 employees managing $4.6 trillion in assets across 75 countries as head of international for BlackRock. The asset manager closed 2025 with a record $14 trillion in total assets under management on $698 billion in net inflows—the company’s strongest year ever—and Lord’s international business is a core force behind that momentum. Among her biggest bets is JioBlackRock, a 50/50 joint venture with Jio Financial Services, that has so far attracted more than 1 million retail investors in India. She has also overseen the integration of BlackRock’s recent acquisitions, such as infrastructure investment manager GIP and private credit manager HPS, into the company’s international platform. Lord, who previously led BlackRock’s APAC and EMEA businesses, is a member of the global executive committee.
