Karin Rådström became CEO of Daimler Truck Holding—the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer—in October 2024, stepping up after running Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Her first full year at the top was a test of resilience: Daimler Truck posted $51.77 billion in industrial revenue in 2025, down 10% in a weak global truck cycle compounded by tariff headwinds. Rådström is steering the company through the most consequential technology transition in trucking’s history: She launched the eActros 600, a long-haul battery-electric truck, and unveiled the Mercedes-Benz NextGenH2, a fuel cell truck. One hundred of the NextGenH2 vehicles will be deployed in customer operations from the end of 2026 and onwards. Daimler Truck’s battery-electric trucks and buses were a bright spot in 2025, with units sold increasing by 67%.
