Bianca E.M. Tetteroo

Bianca Tetteroo first joined Achmea, the Dutch insurance and financial services group, in 2009. She rose through financial director and divisional head roles and joined the executive board before becoming its chair in April 2021. She closed out her first five-year strategic cycle in 2025 having met or exceeded every financial target she set: The operational result reached roughly $1.1 billion, the net result hit $1.35 billion, and the solvency ratio held well above the 165% floor she committed to maintaining. Tetteroo has paired financial discipline with structural transformation, launching a companywide AI program and allocating 12.2% of Achmea’s own investment portfolio to impact investments, beyond its 10% target.
