Anat Ashkenazi arrived at Alphabet in July 2024 with one of the most compelling CFO track records in corporate America. During her three-year tenure as finance chief at Eli Lilly, the company’s market cap soared as it rode the GLP-1 drug wave to become one of the world’s most valuable pharmaceutical companies. She stepped into the role at Alphabet at a pivotal moment. As CFO and senior vice president, she is now overseeing one of the most aggressive capital deployment programs in tech history, with approximately $91.4 billion in capital expenditures committed for 2025 alone, the vast majority directed at AI infrastructure. The bet is paying off: Alphabet posted $402.8 billion in full-year 2025 revenue, a 15% increase year over year. Meanwhile, net income surged 32% to $132.2 billion, with annual revenue crossing $400 billion for the first time in the company’s history.
