It was a momentous year for Al-Suhaimi, the first woman to chair the Saudi Stock Exchange, the Tadawul: The exchange hosted the world’s largest-ever initial public offering in December when it listed Aramco, the Saudi oil firm that currently stands as the world’s second most valuable company. Al-Suhaimi, who was reappointed to a second three-year term chairing the Tadawul earlier this year, is also the CEO of NCB Capital, an arm of National Commercial Bank. She became the first woman to run a Saudi investment bank when she took that job in 2014.
