Since joining China’s largest e-commerce empire, Alibaba Group, in 2007, Wu has helped the company go public twice: once in 2007 as CFO of Alibaba.com and again in 2014 as CFO of Alibaba Group, leading what remains the world’s largest IPO. With rumors Alibaba is planning a second listing in Hong Kong this year, Wu could soon add a third listing to her track record. Meanwhile, the former KPMG auditor’s responsibilities at Alibaba expanded in June as Wu took on the role of Chief of Strategic Investment, taking over from group executive vice chairman, Joe Tsai.
