Anne Rigail

New to the list this year, Rigail was appointed to the top job at Air France (a unit of Air France-KLM) last December, becoming one of the few female CEOs to head up a major airline. As one of the top 20 largest airlines in the world, Air France-KLM carried 101 million passengers last year, a company record. Rigail was promoted from her position as an EVP at a time when Air France was in the midst of pay negotiations with the company’s unions which have since been resolved. Air France reported revenues of roughly $17.6 billion for 2018 although shares of Air France-KLM are down almost 17% for the past six months due to lower peak-season bookings.
