Jackson, who first joined Citroën in 2005 as the Finance Director of the United Kingdom division, now enters her sixth year as the first female CEO of the major French car company. Since her appointment in 2014, Citroën has experienced five consecutive years of growth—resulting in a cumulative 28% increase in sales. In 2018, the Peugeot-Citroën-DS division of the PSA Group reported a record 8.4% profit margin and an 18.9% rise in sales. After Autocar named her the most influential British woman in the automotive industry in 2018, Jackson has set lofty goals for the company’s future. She hopes to up annual sales from 1.1 million to 1.5 million by 2021 by expanding Citroën outside of its European base and into new markets, including India and South Africa.
