Yik Sook Ling

Yik Sook Ling has been chief financial officer of Public Bank, Malaysia's third-largest bank by assets, since 2012. A chartered accountant and chartered banker, she joined the group in 2010 after serving as a group financial controller. The bank is renowned for thrift and credit discipline: its second-quarter cost-to-income ratio of 35.1% was the lowest among Malaysian peers, and its bad-loan ratio of 0.54% compares with an industry average above 1.4%.
