Fiona Murray, vice president and managing director for Asia-Pacific at Ripple, the San Francisco fintech behind the XRP cryptocurrency, joined in London in 2018 after PPE studies at Oxford and payments roles at Misys, Fiserv and Oracle. She moved to Singapore in 2020 to lead regional sales and took over the region in 2023. She helped win—and in December expand—Ripple's Major Payments Institution license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, as regional payment volume nearly doubled in 2025.
