Duangdao Wongpanitkrit has spent 18 years at Krungsri, Thailand's fifth-largest financial group, 13 of them as CFO before becoming its first chief finance and strategy officer in January. A certified public accountant, she now co-develops group strategy, and serves as an executive officer of parent MUFG. Thai economic growth slowed to just 2.4% last year; Krungsri's SME loans fell more than 10% as consumers and businesses held back.
