Ribbit Capital

Although best known for its fintech investments, the Palo Alto-based Ribbit Capital has also been an influential crypto investor since the firm's start in 2012. Its founder, Micky Malka, invested $5 million directly into Bitcoin in 2013. He also invested in the crypto exchange Coinbase one year after its founding. The firm's other top blockchain bets include the popular decentralized exchange Uniswap, the onchain analytics firm Chainalysis, and the fintech giant Robinhood, which has a suite of crypto offerings. Ribbit Capital manages more than $20 billion in investments.
