In 2025, the crypto prime brokerage FalconX acquired 21Shares, a Swiss crypto asset manager. Cofounded in 2018 by Ophelia Snyder and Hany Rashwan, the FalconX subsidiary manages over $5 billion in investor funds as of June 2026 across more than 50 different crypto products. The ETF issuer is most dominant in Europe, and Russell Barlow is its current CEO.
