Salesforce
Two years ago, Salesforce created a Women's Advancement program where managers nominate future leaders to take career development courses for six months. The focus of the courses differ for each person. Engineer Sukrutha Bhadouria worked on communication skills and networking with her career coach. Since completing the courses, she has been promoted to manager. The company is also partnering with historically black university Morehouse College to build a pipeline of new hires for Salesforce's Atlanta office. Read "Bring Your Best Friend to Work."
