Marriott International

To help find the best fit for new hires who are just out of college, Marriott sends associates to different parts of the organization, from marketing, to finance, to services, for a period of 18-to-24 months. After the rotation, they "then decide what they want to focus on," says Erika Alexander, the global hospitality company's chief lodging services officer. Those that rise in the company work hard and have a passion for service, she explains. "People feel they have an equal chance for a job." Read "Why Employees Love Staying at Marriott."
