American Heart Association

Says one baby boomer employee: "Even though we are a non-profit we are run like a business. We use business principles that the for-profit companies use and that helps us to be successful. We are always trying to do new things and if you fail at a new venture it is viewed as a learning experience and helps to move the organization forward in maybe a different way that is more successful. We are not afraid to try new things and to keep changing in a changing world. The organization also provides great benefits, but most especially its 403(b) retirement savings program."

The American Heart Association also appears at No. 95 on the list of the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials.
