Evolve Academy hosts an online cybersecurity bootcamp that takes 20 weeks to complete. Launched in 2016, the program costs almost $14,000 to attend. Instructors are part-time faculty with an average of five-to-six years of work experience. The instructor to student ratio is 1:12. There aren’t admissions requirements because school officials say they believe that cybersecurity education should be available to everyone. However, aptitude and attitude are assessed during adviser meetings. Students are also encouraged to complete the academy’s free cybersecurity fundamentals course before the bootcamp. Graduates can take the Comptia Security+ certification.
