Ulta has capitalized on the beauty craze, operating a chain of stores where shoppers can peruse the latest brow gels, lash extensions, and serums.The company’s branded and private label beauty products include cosmetics, fragrance, hair care, skin care, bath and body products, professional hair products, and salon styling tools. The company carries over 25,000 products across 600 brands in more than 1,400 stores. Ulta’s CFO told Fortune that Ulta’s loyalty program, with over 44 million members, has helped it develop a following to compete effectively against other mall-based stores and e-commerce competitors.
