An Internet technology company, ServiceNow moved quickly to transition its over 13,000 employees to a remote work environment at the start of the pandemic. And even though that meant some in contract roles, such as maintenance, weren’t working as a result, ServiceNow still paid their salaries. As the killing of George Floyd elicited an outcry for stronger efforts around diversity and inclusion, the California-based company also made tangible efforts to move the needle, setting aside $100 million to support Black communities in 10 U.S. metropolitan areas.
