JPMorgan Chase

JPMorgan Chase is one of the world’s oldest, largest, and best known financial institutions. The financial services firm and banking institution traces its history to New York City in 1799, but it credits more than 1,200 institutions that have come together in the years since to form the current company. The J.P. Morgan side of the company is responsible for its investment banking, asset management, private banking, and private wealth management divisions, while the Chase brand handles credit card services in the U.S. and Canada. In 2021 the company made headlines when it announced it would invest $2.5 trillion through 2030 to back sustainability and development initiatives, including $1 trillion purely for efforts to expand its green ambitions.
