The venerable information technology giant kept its position steady as demand for its products stayed up during the pandemic’s second calendar year. The stickiness of remote working has encouraged more people to deck out their home office with printers and faster personal computers—demand that HP has been able to capitalize on. HP’s revenues went up 12.1% in 2021, and its profit more than doubled, as the company captured a 20.5% market share in PCs.
