Employees say:
"My direct management has always been very personal and caring. They provide good opportunities to grow in my career and do meaningful work. They care about me and my family outside of work. When exceptional needs have come up and I need to be away from work, they understand. When I have had life milestones (such as a child birth), they are supportive and celebratory. I have always felt valued and appreciated for my contributions. I find that most people in other groups are also easy to work with and are good partners."
Employees say:
"I've worked at a number of other companies and the culture here is like no other. There is a true sense of community and team along with collaboration. No agendas and people are so welcoming when new and helpful/great resources thereafter. It's a very respectful community where meetings are civilized and leaders are engaged and allow their leaders to lead. Leads want to make a difference and believe in the products they support. The office environment is vibrant and the company does many things to attract workers to be back in the office (via site lunches, celebratory events, speakers, etc.)."

Employees say: "I feel the company's succession planning demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining and balancing both the history/benefits of the HP Way and the ability to bring in new talent tailored to advancing HP's long-term plans. I think it is one of HP's strengths that we are able to grow for the future while staying true to the values of trust, compassion, and collaboration from which the company was founded. I have regularly experienced support throughout my career with HP when seeking out new opportunities to grow my career."

Employees say:
"I greatly appreciate that, unlike other tech companies, HP has touted and been consistently positive and accepting of hybrid work and working from home. This flexible and trusting work culture has not only improved my mental health and quality of life, but it enables business continuity and supports DEI by allowing me to work closely with coworkers around the world."

"What makes HP special is the people who work here including our CEO. The people I have worked with have never been stingy or hesitant or selfish about sharing knowledge and their time. People are happy to collaborate and learn together. Anytime I need help or information, people I reach out to are always willing to take the time to have a conversation to help me out. I also think how our management has responded to current issues like LGBTQ+, shootings, and other major current events have been thoughtful and respectful."

HP Inc., a global provider of computers and printing products, believes that diversity, equity, and inclusion are a business imperative, and has set specific goals related to gender and race in leadership and to closing the digital divide. The company’s Racial Equality and Social Justice Task Force identifies opportunities to reinforce equality in the company by hiring more people of color and minorities, influencing the industry, and advocating for equal opportunities through public policy and civil action. This past year, the company has advocated for federal funding for historically Black colleges and universities, and supported national recognition of and state-level protections for LGBTQ+ marriages. It also offers health care programs, like Black Health, which aims to ensure culturally competent health care and improved health outcomes for Black employees; and LGBTQ+ Health, to help queer-identifying people secure specialized care providers who understand community-specific risks. In 2023, HP created a “Beyond the Spectrum” toolkit to support families and caregivers of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, offering advice on therapy, complexities of care, and emotional support.

Equity was the focus for this personal computing and device titan in the past year, leading one employee to call it “an extremely ethical company at its very core” and noting that it “represents that aspect throughout every business unit.”
- Volunteer communities of HP employees, called Business Impact Networks (BINs), are key to attracting and retaining diverse talent. This year, HP launched the Standing Ovation Awards to acknowledge the contributions of the different BINs.
- The “Hire EQ: Equitable hiring for better outcomes” training program teaches managers to create a more diverse pipeline and create a better experience for all employees to grow.
- Now in its third year, the Racial Equality and Social Justice Task Force works to identify, execute on, and hold the company accountable to the biggest opportunities it has to drive sustainable impact in racial equality.
- When it comes to starting a family, the benefits offered to heterosexual couples are no different than same-sex couples, including equal paid leave policies.

Employees say:
"I believe the people within HP are what make HP special. The diversity and inclusion allows the company to have a wide range of perspective and ideas, and allows us to be ourselves."

Employees say:
"The HP Way culture, the HP Standard of Business Conduct—people here are treated with respect and dignity. It is a great inclusive work environment where anyone can express their ideas without being criticized. All these aspects create a great place to work, where the biggest company strength is its employees. Most people that retire or leave the company for any reason comment the same thing: 'What I will miss the most is the great people I worked with.'"
