HP Inc., a global provider of computers and printing products, believes that diversity, equity, and inclusion are a business imperative, and has set specific goals related to gender and race in leadership and to closing the digital divide. The company’s Racial Equality and Social Justice Task Force identifies opportunities to reinforce equality in the company by hiring more people of color and minorities, influencing the industry, and advocating for equal opportunities through public policy and civil action. This past year, the company has advocated for federal funding for historically Black colleges and universities, and supported national recognition of and state-level protections for LGBTQ+ marriages. It also offers health care programs, like Black Health, which aims to ensure culturally competent health care and improved health outcomes for Black employees; and LGBTQ+ Health, to help queer-identifying people secure specialized care providers who understand community-specific risks. In 2023, HP created a “Beyond the Spectrum” toolkit to support families and caregivers of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, offering advice on therapy, complexities of care, and emotional support.

• The “Hire EQ: Equitable hiring for better outcomes” training program teaches managers to create a more diverse pipeline and create a better experience for all employees to grow.


• Now in its third year, the Racial Equality and Social Justice Task Force works to identify, execute on, and hold the company accountable to the biggest opportunities it has to drive sustainable impact in racial equality.


• When it comes to starting a family, the benefits offered to heterosexual couples are no different than same-sex couples, including equal paid leave policies.
