Vibha Padalkar, a chartered accountant qualified in both England and India, began a new five-year term as managing director and CEO of HDFC Life, one of India's largest private life insurers, on Sept. 12. A senior finance executive at outsourcing firm WNS before joining HDFC Life in 2008, she was CFO at its 2017 listing and has run it since 2018.
