This is Fortune 500 Power Moves, a column tracking executive shifts—from appointments and promotions to resignations and retirements—within the highest ranks of Fortune 500 companies.

Below is a recap of the C-suite developments at America’s highest-revenue-generating companies announced between Nov. 15-21, organized by sector. Titles included in this roundup: CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), CFOs (Chief Financial Officers), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and CHROs (Chief Human Resources Officers). We also include COOs (Chief Operating Officers), CTOs (Chief Technology Officers), Chief People Officers, CMOs (Chief Marketing Officers), and Chief Customer Officers when there are Power Moves within the Fortune 500 announced pertaining to those roles.

Energy 

  • Exelon (No. 192) appointed Elizabeth (Beth) Pitts-Madonna as SVP and CHRO, effective Jan. 1. Pitts-Madonna has spent the past 25 years of her career at Northrop Grumman (No. 110), and she most recently served as VP of Talent. She will succeed Denise Galambos, who is retiring after 21 years with Exelon.

  • NOV (No. 443) appointed Jose Bayardo as Chairman, President, and CEO, effective Jan. 1. Bayardo currently serves as President and COO of the company and will succeed Clay Williams, who is retiring. 

Financials

  • Citigroup (No. 21)announced the transition of the CFO role from current CFO Mark Mason to Gonzalo Luchetti, who is currently the bank’s Head of U.S. Personal Banking. Mason will depart the role in early March 2026, after which he will serve as the bank’s Executive Vice Chair and Senior Executive Advisor to the Chair and CEO, Jane Fraser.

Media

  • Sirius XM Holdings (No. 448) appointedZac Coughlin as CFO, effective Jan. 1. Coughlin currently serves as CFO of PVH (No. 449) and will succeed Tom Barry, who is stepping down but will serve in an advisory role from Jan. 1 to Feb 1. Melissa Stone, EVP, Global Planning and Analysis at PVH, will serve as interim CFO as the company searches for a successor.

Tech

  • Intel (No. 86) appointed Cindy Stoddard as SVP and CIO, effective Dec. 1. The announcement came just a week after Intel’s Chief Technology and AI Officer Sachin Katti left the company to join OpenAI. Stoddard most recently served as SVP and CIO of Adobe (No. 201).
