Sydney Lake is a writer at Fortune, where she covers education and works on the publication's business school rankings. Before joining Fortune, Sydney served as the assistant editor of Virginia Business magazine and interned on the production desk at CQ Roll Call. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and leadership studies from the University of Richmond, where she served as managing editor of the student newspaper, The Collegian.
