Elon Musk is not letting go of his feud with Mark Zuckerberg, once again saying he wants to fight the founder of Meta.

Leaving Capitol Hill Thursday, where he attended Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech as an invited guest, Musk once again challenged Zuckerberg to a fight, saying: “I’ll fight Zuckerberg anyplace, anytime, any rules.”

Another @elonmusk quote from his visit to the hill today—

Zuckerberg did not appear eager to take the bait, replying on Threads: “Are we really doing this again?”

The billionaire beef captured people’s attention about a year ago when Musk called out his social media rival, challenging him to a cage match. Zuckerberg, who has posted videos of himself in mixed martial arts bouts, took what appeared to be Musk making a joke seriously and said he was ready to set up the fight.

Musk then said he needed to first get an MRI before he could compete. Zuckerberg eventually dropped the idea, saying Musk wasn’t serious.

Whether either was prepared for a fight or not, the trash-talking captured people’s attention. That was despite Musk’s penchant for making headlines with outrageous moves, whether it’s walking into Twitter headquarters carrying a sink or naming his dog CEO of the social network. It was kind of hard to think his challenge was serious (especially when he declared his top move “’The Walrus’, where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing”).

One promoter bought into the hyperbole, though. UFC president Dana White told TMZ he believed both billionaires were “absolutely deadly serious” and that the fight could break pay-per-view records, taking in more than $1 billion.

“If these guys are serious, I make fights that people want to see,” said the promoter. “These are early stages. We’ll see how things play out.”
