Get ready for more Star Trek on CBS All Access. The streamer has picked up new series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, featuring the characters of Spock, Captain Pike, and Number One.

The three, currently portrayed by Ethan Peck, Anson Mount, and Rebecca Romijn, were introduced on Star Trek: Discovery during its last season. The new show will focus on the trio during the decade before Captain Kirk got on the U.S.S. Enterprise. Citing fans’ appreciation for the characters, Julie McNamara, executive vice president and head of programming for CBS All Access, said in a statement Friday that the “new series will be a perfect complement to the franchise, bringing a whole new perspective and series of adventures to Star Trek.”

“Speaking just for myself, I have never received more love from a fan base than I have from the Star Trek family,” said Mount in a video announcement featuring the actors.

The new series joins Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, and the upcoming animated Star Trek: Lower Decks as one of the various series from the beloved sci-fi franchise on CBS All Access. Another series for younger audiences is also being developed at Nickelodeon. The announcement also comes about a week after ViacomCBS CEO Bob Bakish confirmed “major changes coming this summer” as the company works on an expanded streaming service combining CBS and Viacom programming.

No series premiere date has been set yet.
