Here’s What Stores Are Open—and Closed—on Christmas Day 2019

    Decking the halls is all well and good, but sometimes you just need to get away from your loved ones on Christmas Day. And your options can be limited.

    Whether you find you’re short one ingredient for your holiday dinner, need to grab a last minute gift on the way to someone’s house, or just need a break, there are a few options to choose from.

    Hours may vary and some municipalities have laws prohibiting major stores from opening on Christmas. And not every location follows the company’s suggested hours. It’s always a good idea to call before making the trek.

    Pretty much everyone else, including most Walmart and Target stores, but many will be open early on Dec. 26 for year-end clearance sales.
