The European Commission President wants President Donald Trump to stay out of Brexit negotiations, warning that if he doesn’t, he will advocate for a secession within the United States.
“If he [Trump] goes on like that I am going to promote the independence of Ohio and Austin, Texas, in the United States of America,” European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker, said at a conference of the European People’s Party in Malta. His remarks were reported by CNN.
Trump has repeatedly praised Brexit.”They took their country back, just like we will take America back,” he tweeted after the vote. (He sparked controversy for tweeting this during his visit to Scotland, which actually voted to stay in the EU).

On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer called him a “leader” in the effort to predict the outcome.
British Prime Minister Theresa May triggered Article 50 earlier this week, the official start of negotiations to remove Britain from the European Union.
