Fans of all things Westeros, get ready — the popular book and TV series “Game of Thrones” is going to get its own fan convention.
The new gathering of fantasy fans will be called “Con of Thrones,” reports AV Club. The convention is scheduled to be held from June 30 through July 2 of next year in Nashville, Tenn. and be hosted by fan site Watchers on the Wall. The site is working with a company called Mischief Management to put on the event. Mischief Management has hosted a number of other fan conventions.

“This convention is led by die-hard fans of the series, no detail will go unnoticed,” the organizers promise. Game of Thrones fanatics will likely demand high quality simulated environments and weapons, and the cosplay — a term for fans of fictional franchises who dress up as their favorite characters — will likely be unmatched.
It isn’t known yet if any of the cast of the HBO program, or even series creator George R.R. Martin, will be making an appearance.
Fan conventions have become big business in recent years. Bigger events include ComicCon’s in San Diego and New York, but franchise-specific cons for titles like Star Wars and Star Trek are also popular.
