The latest trailer for the feature film chronicling the life of Apple founder Steve Jobs has hit the Internet. It’s as enthralling as you’d expect from an Aaron Sorkin script, and Michael Fassbender’s turn as an impressively believable Jobs looks powerful.
“I sat in garage and invented the future because artists lead and hacks ask for a show of hands,” he yells at the Apple board before we start to see his evolution into the older, black turtleneck-clad Jobs.
The fast-paced dialogue, in Sorkin’s trademark style, takes viewers through a two-minute-plus montage of Jobs’ meteoric rise, fall and comeback. Fassbender has support from an A-list cast, including Jeff Daniels, Kate Winslet and Seth Rogen. Danny Boyle directs.
The film hits theaters this October and will be the centerpiece at this fall’s New York Film Festival.
