Nova Capital
 has completed its previously-announced $214 million acquisition of five home improvement and hardware brands from Newell Rubbermaid (NYSE: NWL). The brands are: Amerock, Ashland, Bulldog, Drapery Hardware and Shur-Line. www.newellrubbermaid.com

TA Associates
 has sponsored a majority recapitalization of BluePay Processing Inc., a Naperville, Ill.–based provider of tech-enabled processing services to merchants in the U.S. and Canada. Sellers included Goldman Sachs. No financial terms were disclosed. www.bluepay.com

Tenaska Capital Management
 has agreed to acquire US Power Generating Co., operator of oil and natural gas-based electric power generation facilities in New York City. TowerBrook Capital Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in AIM Aviation, a UK-based maker of cabin interiors for airplanes, from LDC. No financial terms were disclosed, although media reports suggest a price-tag of around £160 million. www.aim-aviation.com

Yucaipa Cos. has acquired more than 150 Fresh & Easy convenience stores – operating in California, Arizona and Nevada — from Tesco PLC (LSE: TSCO). The deal also includes Fresh & Easy’s distribution and production operations in California.
