Great Range Capital, a Kansas City-based private equity firm, has acquired LLL Transport, a Brookfield, Mo.-based specialty transport company. No financial terms were disclosed. www.greatrangecapital.com

Sorgenia France, a French developer of onshore wind projects, has raised an undisclosed amount of private equity funding from Partners Group.

Wine by Joe, an Oregon-based winemaker, has raised an undisclosed amount of “growth and refinancing capital” from Bacchus Capital Management. No financial terms were disclosed. www.joedobbeswines.com

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8

KPS Capital Partners has agreed to acquire Paladin Brands Holding Inc. and Crenlo LLC from Dover Corp.(NYSE: DOV). No financial terms were disclosed. Paladin makes engineered attachment tools for operator-driven equipment, while Crenlo manufactures steel cabs, roll-over protective structures and electronics enclosures. Both companies will operate under a newly-formed umbrella corporation called International Equipment Solutions LLC. www.kpsfund.com

Access Information Management, a Livermore, Calif.-based provider of hardcopy and digital records management storage and destruction services, has raised an undisclosed amount of growth equity funding from Summit Partners. Robert W. Baird & Co. advised AIM on the deal. www.accesscorp.com

Bayside Capital, an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, has agreed to acquire substantially all the assets ofAlexander Gallo Holdings, an Atlanta-based court reporting and litigation solutions. To facilitate the deal, Alexander Gallo has filed for Chapter 11 restructuring. As part of the deal, Bayside will provide Alexander Gallo with $20 million in new financing. www.higcapital.com

Brockway Moran & Partners has acquired an undisclosed stake in The Country Vintner Inc., an Ashland, Va.-based distributor of wines and American craft spirits. No financial terms were disclosed.www.brockwaymoran.com

Clearview Capital has acquired Child Health Holdings Inc., a Tampa, Fla.-based provider of alternative-site healthcare services for children, from Harbert Private Equity. No financial terms were disclosed.www.clearviewcap.com

Linden LLC has acquired an undisclosed position in Strata Pathology Services Inc., a Lexington, Mass.-based provider of anatomic pathology services. No financial terms were disclosed, except that Babson Capital Management supported the deal with $12.15 million in mezzanine debt financing and $1 million of equity. www.lindenllc.com

RedZone Robotics Inc., a Pittsburgh-based provider of wastewater inspection technologies, has raised $25 million in growth equity from ABS Capital Partners. www.redzone.com

The Riverside Company has acquired Avatar International LLC, a Lake Mary, FLa.-based provider of patient-satisfaction surveys mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, from Veronis Suhler Stevenson. No financial terms were disclosed. www.riversidecompany.com

The Riverside Company has acquired Centiv Services LLC, a Chicago-based provider of a marketing automation platform. No financial terms were disclosed, except that Deerpath Capital Management provided leveraged financing. www.riversidecompany.com

Warburg Pincus has agreed to acquire Total Safety, a Houston-based provider of outsourced safety and compliance solutions, from DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal, which is expected to close by year-end. www.warburgpincus.com

Wellspring Capital Management has acquired Resco Products, a Pittsburgh-based maker of refractory solutions, from Hancock Park Associates. No financial terms were disclosed.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7

Guardian Capital Partners has acquired a 60% stake in RIO Brands LLC, a Conshohocken, Penn.-based provider of outdoor furniture and other related accessories. No pricing terms were disclosed. PNC Business Credit provided senior debt financing, while Centerfield Capital Partners and Bowside Capital provided additional financing and minority equity. www.riobrands.com

Bridgepoint has agreed to acquire Infront Sports & Media, a Sweden-based international sports and media marketing company, for more than €550 million. www.bridgepoint.eu

H.I.G. Capital has acquired a majority stake in the Losberger Group, a Germany-based company that makes, sells and leases temporary space solutions. No financial terms were disclosed, except that Losberger has annual revenue in excess of €100 million. www.higcapital.com

RegionalCare Hospital Partners, a Brentwood, Tenn.-based owner and operator of four non-urban hospitals, has agreed to merge with Essent Healthcare Inc., a Nashville-based owner and operator of three non-urban acute care hospitals. No financial terms were disclosed. RegionalCare is a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus, while Essent is backed by Vestar Capital Partners and Cressey & Co.www.regionalcare.net

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6

3i Group has agreed to acquire Etanco, a French maker of building fasteners and fixing systems, from IK Investment Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. Company CEO Ronan Lebraut is re-investing alongside 3i, and will retain a 25% ownership stake. www.3i.com

Berry Plastics Corp., a portfolio company of Apollo Global Management and Graham Partners, has completed its acquisition of Rexam SBC’s specialty and beverage closures business. No financial terms were disclosed. www.berryplastics.com

Jacobs Private Equity has invested up to $135 million into XPO Logistics Inc. (NYSE Amex: XPO), as part of a private placement that could reach $150 million (including exercised warrants). Bradley Jacobs, managing director of Jacobs Private Equity, became the chairman of XPO’s new board of directors.
