A reader from New York writes:
Make $100,000 per year to babysit 17-24 year old future officers for 6-8 hours per day. Basically, they wouldn’t be here if they weren’t smart enough to take care of themselves, but for some reason, probably due to liability issues, there has to be an actual government employee sitting in an office overseeing every facet of their life. Making sure, for example, that their dorm room doors are open 90 degrees by 630 every morning.
