Malina Ngai took over as CEO at AS Watson in May, after more than two decades at the retail operator and its parent company, Hong Kong–based conglomerate CK Hutchison. AS Watson is the world’s largest health and beauty retailer by store count, with 16,500 outlets under brands like Watsons and Superdrug. The division generated over $20 billion in revenue last fiscal year. Ngai is also a competitive athlete, winning a bronze medal in rowing at the 1994 Asian Games in Hiroshima.
