Jennifer Piepszak, a 30-year veteran of JPMorgan Chase, was named co-CEO of its Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) in January 2024. Previously, Piepszak spent nearly three years as co-CEO of Consumer and Community Banking (a.k.a. Chase), and was chief financial officer for two years before that. She is viewed as one of the top contenders to succeed current CEO Jamie Dimon. She is also on the board of directors for the United Way of New York City. In her current role, Piepszak is focused on helping JPMorgan Chase successfully integrate its merged commercial and investment bank; overall, her current responsibilities constitute a broader role than the ones she’d held previously. In the first six months of 2024, Piepszak and co-CEO Troy Rohrbaugh led the CIB to generate record revenue of more than $35 billion, according to JPMorgan Chase.
