Catherine MacGregor

- Catherine MacGregor joined the French utility company in 2021 as CEO, continuing her streak of leadership in the energy sector. She previously held leadership positions at TechnipFMC and Schlumberger.  

- She also serves as an independent director at Microsoft.  

- ENGIE recorded €82.6 billion ($92.3 billion) in revenue in 2023, down from last year’s revenue of €93.9 billion ($105 billion).  

- In August, MacGregor and the company raised its guidance for 2024, in spite of lower market prices in Europe.  

- ENGIE, which is aiming to be carbon neutral by 2045 and working to reduce its emissions, pushed back its goal of developing some hydrogen projects from 2030 to 2035 due to a slow market and progress in the industry.
