Beth Ford

Beth Ford has been CEO of Land O’Lakes since 2018. She serves on the President’s Export Council, and is a director on the boards of the Business Roundtable and Starbucks. Land O’Lakes is one of the few co-ops in the Fortune 500; it does business in the U.S. and around the world, notably in South Africa, Canada, China, Mexico, and Brazil. In 2023, Land O’Lakes revenue slipped 13% to $16.8 billion, but net earnings still rose as the co-op’s farmer-owner members charged more for the butter and other dairy products they produce. From her perch, Ford has pushed for expanded broadband access in rural America, helped farmers adopt regenerative agriculture, as well as lobbied for more funding for agricultural R&D.
