The first female CEO of the Dutch information services provider Wolters Kluwer, McKinstry has held the position since 2003 and continues to oversee the company’s successful transition away from print, with 89% of the firm’s revenue coming from digital and services in 2019. Managing more than $5.4 billion in yearly revenue and around 19,000 employees, McKinstry grew organic revenue by 4% over 2019 and an additional 3% during the the first half of 2020. She’s also taken steps to improve the diversity of her executive team, with women making up 50% of both the executive board and division CEOs.
