Damola Adamolekun

Red Lobster filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May of this year. A few months later, 35-year-old Damola Adamolekun came on as CEO to try to turn around the struggling seafood chain. Although he’s young, this isn’t Adamolekun’s first time helming a restaurant company. He previously served as the CEO of P.F. Chang’s from 2019 to 2023. Adamolekun has previously worked for Paulson & Co., TPG, and Goldman Sachs. When it comes to Red Lobster, Adamolekun says he plans on making “incremental changes” to the business, hopefully holding on to loyal baby boomer diners while also appealing to a younger consumer base.
