SITELAB urban studio

Founded in 2013 by Laura Crescimano, SITELAB urban studio is a design company that seeks to create equitable places for public life in cities and to grow those cities sustainably. The company works on multi-faceted projects across the Bay Area, either creating frameworks or developing master plans. It develops a process of co-creation with local communities and city agencies and future users of a place, the goal of which is to advance buildable projects that met the goals of the wide range of stakeholders involved.

The San Francisco-based company prioritizes robust community engagement in all of its work, which ranges from a temporary pop-up open space at Boom Pop Park to the five year plus engagement with the Pier 70 waterfront plan.
