Founded in 2015 by Mark Tompkins, Anthony Falzone, and Paul Frank, FlowWest provides a full suite of natural resources management and ecosystem restoration services. Recent projects include emergency river engineering and planning for the future of California's water sustainability.
FlowWest is an active donor to a wide variety of Oakland-based organizations working to improve equity and inclusion, and it has formed partnerships with some of these organizations to lend its expertise in natural resources and technology to help advance their missions. Its team has also partnered with CALPIRG to raise awareness of lead in drinking water and the Tuolumne River Trust to restore and protect the magnificent Tuolumne River.
