Jason Pereira and Vik Bapna founded CWE in 2006, after having spent the first half of their careers as Engineering Managers for the Los Angeles County. They built their company on the understanding of the unique and complicated challenges faced by public agencies and the companies they regulated. Specifically, Pereira and Bapna saw a gap in the marketplace for reliable professionals that could provide innovative and sound engineering solutions.

CWE operates on a simple promise: Creating a Better Tomorrow, Today. Its civil infrastructure, water resources, and environmental engineering services have enhanced the quality of life in over 150 municipalities. Additionally, the company has been active in addressing environmental justice issues and has been helping clients, like the City of Los Angeles, to attain their 2050 Green New Deal targets to have a zero carbon grid, zero carbon transportation, zero carbon buildings, zero waste, and zero wasted water.
