Ledger

Ledger is the largest provider of hardware crypto wallets. According to the Paris-based company, it has sold about 7 million devices and claims to secure more than 20% of the entire digital asset market cap. 

Founded in 2014 in Paris by eight cofounders—including Éric Larchevêque, David Balland, and Nicolas Bacca—Ledger is led by CEO Pascal Gauthier. Tony Fadell, who previously developed key products at Apple and Nest, designed the company's flagship crypto storage device, the Ledger Stax. The Stax offers a personalized display, wireless charging and can serve as a security passkey for a variety of logins.
