Binance is the world’s largest crypto exchange. Founded in 2017 by Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, a Chinese-born Canadian who first made his name at Bloomberg and in the Shanghai tech scene, Binance quickly became the most dominant exchange in the world. But more recently, the company's opaque operations have put it in the cross-hairs of regulators.
