Hyland's employees often volunteer in teams. Ray Dieter, a senior manager with the software company’s strategic alliance team, recently spent half a day with five colleagues at the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, where they worked on an art therapy project with the group’s clients. “You know you’re working with really decent people because they’re willing to volunteer their time even when we’re all so busy,” he says.
